At Basic Trophies, we specialize in providing high-quality, affordable trophies and awards with a personal touch. With over a decade of experience supporting music schools across Canada through the Musical Ladder System, we’ve proudly helped thousands of children feel recognized for their achievements—and we’re just getting started.
Our journey began in Oakville, Ontario, in 2001 when founders James and Jennifer Franczek purchased their first music school. Over the years, their dedication to music education helped grow their business to four locations, serving more than 1,000 students each week. The secret to their success? A deep passion for celebrating kids’ accomplishments and making every student feel like a star. That same passion is what inspired the creation of Basic Trophies.
What started as a way to support our own students through music recognition awards has now expanded into a full-fledged trophy business. Today, we proudly serve music schools across the Greater Toronto Area and Canada—and we’re excited to grow into new industries. Whether it’s dance, sports, or corporate awards, our mission remains the same: to deliver simple, dependable, and meaningful trophies and awards that make people feel great.
